In January, Spring seemed to arrive early and the children enjoyed being out and about looking for the snowdrops and other signs that Winter was over. Then in April we had a visit from some new-born lambs to let us know Spring was well and truly here. The children were invited to decorate the Easter tree outside the church in April and then in July we had a great leavers picnic where the children were able to show their parents around the gardens in the beautiful sunshine.
In September we raised a massive £269.00 in our cake sale in aid of MacMillan cancer and then in October we celebrated British Food fortnight with Billy the chef showing us how to mill the heritage wheat into flour. We were lucky enough to be invited to decorate some pumpkins for the Hidcote garden pumpkin trail which went on display over Halloween.
We rounded off the year with a trip on the tractor and trailer to collect our Christmas tree and a visit from Father Christmas.
