overbury Joinery

Overbury has had the advantage of many years of in-house joinery, the skills of which we are now able to share with local customers who are seeking quality pieces.

All of our joinery is made using traditional techniques, resulting in beautiful and long-lasting items.

We have a wide range of experience with:

  • Joinery in listed buildings and conservation areas, where exact replication or repair is required.
  • Custom joinery, working with customers and their designer.

Our joiners can make:

  • Energy-efficient windows and doors (suitable for their surroundings) using high-tech glazing
  • Fitted wooden cabinetry (ex. custom wardrobes and walk-in closets, entertainment units, wrap-around libraries, wine storage)

Our specialist joinery is designed to either reflect the existing detailing, or enhance the space it is intended for.

Custom bi-folding windows

The concertina fold allows for the best view and aeration, depending on the client's preferences.

Drawer boxes for miscellaneous items

The joins are traditionally dove-tailed for long-term durability.

Lattice-work cabinet

Antique brass was sourced for this piece.

Bespoke design can also significantly improve functionality. For example, this fitted attic storage cabinet was designed to make use of previously unusable space, while also helping to create the illusion of balance in the room.
