Covid 19/Coronavirus

Update on Covid 19

Update 24/03/20

We are trying to continue as close to normal as possible whilst abiding by government's directions. Our teams are continuing their work wherever they can in order that everybody is able to  to enjoy Overbury even in this difficult time. Please do bear with us whilst we adjust to working separately where we would normally have physically worked together. Again if you have any recommendations or suggestions please do contact the Estate Office.

Overbury is following Government advice in relation to the spread of Covid-19/Coronavirus and whilst we are taking all necessary steps to continue with business as normal, it is likely that some disruption may occur.

Our two main aims are to ensure that everyone stays fit and healthy where possible and that we can carry on as normally as the situation will permit. With this in mind, there are a few things we as a community can do to help; -

Neil Townend is collating a list of local service providers who are offering to help local residents at the current time. There are many good initiatives locally, with pubs offering take-aways and farm shops providing a call and collect service. if you would like to suggest any further initiatives please contact us and we can put you in touch.

We are asking all Tenants who go into self-isolation to let us know and we will contact you in advance of an appointment or visit to confirm your current health status. Where this is the case, only essential repairs will be undertaken.

Depending on how our own staff and contractors are affected, it may be necessary for us to provide a reduced service. We would ask you to please bear with us whilst we prioritise calls and requests.

Please continue to make contact with the Estate Office by telephone on 01386 725111 or emailing [email protected], but do not physically visit the Office. We are currently investigating lots of other options to make things easier and we will update you here as and when anything new is put in place.

If the changes caused by this virus mean you start to have any financial difficulties Penelope will be more than willing to discuss these with you and we just ask that you make contact with the office first so we can direct your enquiry.

As the situation is evolving all the time the website will be updated when our advice changes or we have further information. Thank you for your understanding if you have any suggestions of anything else we might be able to do to help please do let us know.
