MIDDLE BARN DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

Middle Barn Grain store is progressing well and we are on schedule to get it completed before harvest which is a huge relief. All of the steel work is now erected and most of the roof is on. Currently the machinery installers are building the grain drier itself and installing some of the cat walk, conveyors and elevators that will carry the grain through the plant and safely into store.

The new sprayer and chemical store is almost completed and we will soon be able to start using that facility, which is great as the sprayer will the out on the fields again when conditions allow.

The first ducts to carry the cool air are installed with drive over floors which will reduce cleaning time and mean the crops stored will be kept in a much better condition.

 The electricians are making good progress wiring in the electronic roller shutter doors as they are installed.  We will have to wait until next year to do the landscaping in the form of trees to the north of the site, but grass will be seeded in the next few weeks when the risk of frost has reduced.
