SeSaME Oil Buying Club recently hosted an introductory meeting at the The Old Village Shop, Overbury to provide residents of Overbury and Conderton with information on their competitive oil prices and the simple registration process.
Mike Parker, who runs the scheme (which originated out of Sedgeberrow), was on hand to answer questions from many of the residents who attended the two sessions. More information can be found on their website: http://oilbuyingclub.com/sites/sesame/faqs/.
The more residents who sign up the cheaper the prices should become. The next buying deadline is Sunday 13th September at 23.00hrs. Once you have registered, you can then change your password and place an order (minimum 500 litres). You then receive email confirmation of your purchase and should expect delivery within 8-9 days.
Mike explained that they check the prices from other sites such as Boiler Juice to ensure they are competitive and he is happy to speak to anyone with further questions not answered by their website.
