Welcome Mark to our farm team!

We are delighted to welcome Mark to our farm team. Mark has close links with Overbury and is enjoying getting stuck in, like all of us he has his fingers crossed for some rain!

Mark started work in early April and lives here in Overbury. Mark is known to many already and is married to Helen who runs the estate office reception desk. Mark and Helen have 3 children - Max, Poppy and Lewis. Mark studied at Agricultural College a few years ago and is delighted to return back to farm life as this has always been a passion of his.

Before joining our team, Mark worked as an Advanced Driving Instructor for Land Rover Jaguar at Eastnor Castle. Before that, he spent 25 years as a Crew Commander at Evesham Fire Service, with specialist training in boat rescue and as an instructor on large animal rescue.

Mark’s main role will be looking after the grain store facility at Middle Barn. He will measure grain intake, monitor grain when it is in store and organise the loading of lorries when the crops have been sold. Additionally, Mark will be supporting the rest of the team on the farm undertaking drilling, spraying, irrigation as well as helping on the wider Estate when jobs arrive from other departments.

Outside of farming, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, watching Worcester Warriors, and has an avid interest in nature and wildlife.
