This week Overbury Grasshoppers have been celebrating British Breakfast Week, learning where their favourite breakfasts come from. Let's take a look at their week...
On Monday the children had Weetabix and Shredded Wheat with milk and talked about cereal crops and dairy cows.
Tuesday was porridge day: some children made their own and some enjoyed messy play.
Wednesday took the children on a tractor ride to see wheat growing. Farmer Jake showed the children where the wheat grows.
The children were then taken to the grain store which was great fun.
Farmer Jake gave the nursery a bag of grain to take back to the nursery to play with.
I wonder what they got up to on Thursday and Friday?
