Going, Going... Gone!

Now!

After renovations, two lucky families are about to move into their new homes (both with interesting histories).

Our talented building team have been busy working at The Old Shop in Overbury over the last few months and this property has now been completely renovated, ready for new tenants to enjoy.

On Friday 19th June we held an Open Event for all the contractors who have worked on The Old Shop to come and see the finished result.  Everyone seemed very happy with the final result.

We also held an Open Event on Monday 22nd June for local residents and family members of the previous tenants who remember the house before the refurbishment.  Here is a before and after picture.  The black and white photograph shows a previous tenant, George Hancox, taken in the 1950s outside the Old Shop.

Another property waiting for a new custodian is The Old Brewhouse which, as the name suggests, used to be where the local ale was brewed.  With a lovely large garden and breathtaking views over the Cotswold hills, this is another great family home.  Here is another ‘then’ and ‘now’:

We have painted, put in a new bathroom and helped make the garden into a blank canvas for the new occupant to develop… Green fingers needed!

So we bid a sad farewell to the tenants who will soon be leaving us and wish them all the very best of luck in the future.

We also want to wish a very warm welcome to all the new tenants from all of us here at Overbury Estate.
