Here at Overbury Estate we support apprenticeships. This week is National Apprenticeship Week 2015 and we wanted to showcase some locally nurtured talent.
Meet Jayne. She is a full time member of our Grasshoppers Day Nursery.
Jayne joined Grasshoppers originally in 2011 when she did her year 11 work experience placement at the Nursery.
When Jayne left school she decided to do an NVQ in Child Care through South Worcestershire College. Grasshoppers Nursery was her very first work placement and, months later, her last work placement. Sharron, the Nursery Manager could see a terrific change in Jayne.
Jayne was offered a part time Nursery Assistant position at Grasshoppers and is now a full time member of the team.
